- Baker Act Disclaimer — Telehealth Limitations
As a telehealth-only provider, I am not able to respond to psychiatric emergencies or initiate emergency interventions remotely. I do not have the ability to dispatch emergency services on your behalf. In the event of a psychiatric emergency — including thoughts of suicide, self-harm, or harm to others — please call 911, call or text 988, or go to your nearest emergency room immediately. Please be aware that Florida's Baker Act (§394.463, F.S.) allows for involuntary psychiatric examination and may be initiated by law enforcement, physicians, or mental health professionals when there is reason to believe an individual is in imminent danger. If you are in crisis, please seek in-person emergency care.

I am licensed to practice in the state of Florida only. In accordance with Florida telehealth law (§456.47, F.S.), all clients must be physically located within the state of Florida at the time of each telehealth session, regardless of state of residence. I am unable to provide services to individuals located outside of Florida at the time of their appointment.

I Amadeus is a licensed Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) and board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC), licensed in the state of Florida. Florida ARNP License No.: APRN 11009147
- ARNP Telehealth Prescribing Disclosure
As an ARNP licensed in Florida with prescriptive authority, I am authorized to prescribe psychiatric medications, including controlled substances where clinically appropriate, via telehealth. In accordance with Florida law and DEA regulations, prescribing via telehealth is subject to a clinical evaluation conducted via synchronous, real-time audio-visual communication. Prescriptions for controlled substances may require additional documentation and are issued at the sole discretion of the provider based on clinical judgment.
- 4. No Surprises Act — Good Faith Estimate
This practice is a private pay provider. Under the federal No Surprises Act (effective January 1, 2022), you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of expected costs before receiving any services. You will be provided a Good Faith Estimate prior to your first appointment and upon request at any time. If your final bill exceeds your Good Faith Estimate by $400 or more, you have the right to dispute the charge. For questions about your estimate, contact the office at amadeusamadeushealth@gmail.com.
