Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a diagnosis before scheduling?

No. An initial psychiatric evaluation can help clarify your concerns and determine appropriate next steps. You can schedule even if you’re unsure how to describe what you’re experiencing.

What happens during the first appointment?

We’ll discuss your current concerns, health history, previous treatment, and goals. You’ll have time to ask questions and review recommendations for your care.

Will I automatically be prescribed medication?

No. Medication recommendations depend on your evaluation, clinical needs, and preferences. We’ll discuss potential benefits, risks, and alternatives before making treatment decisions.

Do you offer online appointments?

Telehealth appointments are available for patients physically located in Florida at the time of their visit, when clinically appropriate.

Can I schedule an in-person appointment?

In-person appointments are available at our Miami office by appointment. Contact the practice to confirm availability.

Can I seek care before my symptoms become severe?

Yes. You can seek an evaluation when you first notice changes in your mental health. You do not need to wait until symptoms significantly interfere with your life.

How do I find out about pricing or insurance?

Visit our Pricing & Insurance page or contact the practice before scheduling. Insurance participation and benefits should be confirmed for your specific plan.
